G.F.A—Celaya
During the 2018-2019 Mexican national administration transition OOSI was approached by a tax & accounting consulting client who had her office space located inside a 3 stories mixed-use building type facing an affluent --if not the most-- and commercial street in Celaya and because her business had seen a steady growth, she bought the neighboring floor space. As a result her business would occupy the entire 1st level of the building.
The client made three statements which later influenced our design. First of all she had a very limited budget ($17,000. usd). She asked for a space to meet with prospective clients, this space would need to be capable of hosting different type of meetings which could also vary in the number of people attending them. The last requirement was to visually and virtually divide two offices—one for her, another for the staff. These two entities needed to be officially different offices while having—secretly and not so obvious—connecting points, allowing them to internally operate as a single hole.
These two entities would (cinicaly) run under different registered names while having specific invisible connection points, allowing them to internally operate as a single whole.
